Context-aware AI

AI that understands context.
Revisions that reflect character.

Our approach brings full-context understanding, speaker-tone analysis, and AI-generated revisions into one proofreading workflow.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE01 / 03

A promise between two characters

“내일은 꼭 돌아올께.”

A revision tailored to the character

“내일은 꼭 돌아올걸세”

This illustrative revision considers the character’s personality, relationship dynamics, age, and the surrounding context to match the speaker’s tone.

CONTEXT ANALYSIS

Understand the narrative
before refining the sentence.

Through the Anthropic API, OTAL analyzes the full narrative to understand meaning, the speaker’s personality, age, and relationship dynamics. That context informs the tone of each suggested revision.

  • Analyze the full text as connected context
  • Interpret narration and dialogue together
  • Generate revisions in the speaker’s tone

Our AI foundation

Language intelligence.
Powered by Claude.

OTAL is an AI language technology brand owned by TheWhitebeard. Claude, accessed through the Anthropic API, provides the language intelligence behind our context analysis and revisions tailored to the speaker’s tone.

Context as the foundation

Our approach treats the narrative as connected information, so meaning, scene, and dialogue can inform each revision.

Tone as a generation signal

Personality, age, and relationship dynamics guide how the AI interprets a speaker’s tone and proposes a revision.

Writer judgment in the loop

AI expands the editorial possibilities. The writer reviews each suggestion and decides which language belongs in the manuscript.

About our technology

Built around AI.
Designed for writers.

What makes OTAL’s AI approach different?

Conventional spell checkers focus on spelling errors. OTAL uses the Anthropic API to interpret the full context, infer the speaker’s tone, and generate revisions tailored to that tone. Context, character, and language generation work together in the same editorial process.

What kind of writing is it for?

We’re building professional proofreading for storytellers who write in Korean, including novelists, screenwriters, web-fiction authors, and short-story writers. The product focuses on Korean language; this website is available in English and Korean.

How does AI account for character voice?

Our approach uses the surrounding narrative and character context to interpret personality, age, relationships, dialect, and tone. Those signals guide the revision, while the writer decides whether it fits the character.

Which AI powers OTAL?

Claude, accessed through the Anthropic API, powers OTAL’s language understanding and revision generation. We focus that capability on Korean narrative writing and the voice of each speaker.
